Thank you! That's a great idea to have these things taught in school. I will work on a bibliography to share with my subscribers. Thank you for the suggestion.

What a wonderful post! I wish that the Native American's contribution to the establishment of what is considered to be our founding beliefs was covered in schools. It would also be nice to have some references to do further reading on this very interesting subject.

Repeated one notices that what first appeared to be a failure or a mistake was the necessary happening to come to the next wonderful, delightful and rewarding place. Something about that crucifixion before the resurrection . . .
Thank you ~

Yes, actually I have listened to the wind. It is the breath of the God that lives within me. I will seek me out and ask me to listen. If I am attentive I will do as told. It is how I got here, from Milwaukee to Saugatuck. My purpose, one was stumbling on your blog, not knowing we are neighbors. Be blessed my friend. Your gift is amazing...

With the plethora of political positions coming into my e-mail and especially enjoying the ones that support my preference, I recognize the tension that the energy of separation generates. In the oneness of all life, I am currently enjoying living in the company of two four-leggeds . . . so your reminder this morning has been most refreshing. Thank you J Muir, B Hoff and Molly Larkin.

I learned to follow my heart and listen to my gut feelings. I found it is ok to listen to what others want me to do, but I must always remember to do what I want to do, to be truly happy within.

When I am not sure what I want, I listen carefully and Great Mystery helps me find my way. I have also found that true listening takes a lot of lessons in patience.

I am grateful for the voices of the Grandmothers, the Grandfathers, the Elders, the Ancient Ones and all our relatives who are assisting us on our journey. All we need to do is listen. Bear Heart is one of those voices that has touched my heart. And I am grateful for Molly for bringing and sharing her teachings in a way that is gentle and inspiring to the young and the old.

Realizing I loved the beauty in all things, I decided I wanted to capture all that I saw on film and wanted to be like Ansel Adams, (the famous photographer). My parents would not allow me to take photography classes in college. They said it was a waste of money. So I took art classes and dreamed about taking photos.

II worked in the corporate world for many years and took a few photography classes here and there. Six years ago, I found a job with a small non-profit. I spend time in an office, but I also have the opportunity to take photographs for their brochures, website, newsletter and slide presentations. I get to spend time in the woods and out on Mother Earth, breathing in fresh air and listening to all of nature. So my dreams are here and now.
